Cats

Sadly it's that time of year - the summer holidays are over and people are facing a winter of high energy bills and expensive food. Many decide that they can no longer afford to keep their cats.

We have a record number of unwanted cats at Foal Farm at the minute and there is a long waiting list of cats waiting to come in to us for rehoming.

If anyone can offer a home to one of these lovely creatures, please get in touch.

We have two cats and really can't get any more, even though there are so many on your site that I would love to take home. We got Tobias from Foal Farm four years ago and he's doing really well. Actually, as a family pet he's utterly hopeless as he choses who he will talk to, or even walk past, and he's very picky. But, having said that, we absolutely adore him. He is the sweetest most gentle cat you could imagine. We got a kitten from a friend a while back and weren't sure whether Tobias would accept him. Luckily, Tobias has completely taken charge and keeps the kitten - who is now bigger than him - firmly in check. Having his new charge has given Tobias a bit more courage too and we've even found him playing at times, when he thinks no one is looking. So, I can heartily recommend Foal Farm and I hope all your cats and dogs go to good homes.
