Phones

Good news - Foal Farm is getting a proper phone system!
We know that many of our supporters have found it frustrating trying to get through to us on the phone, so we are investing in a new system to help out with this. There will still be busy times when we can not answer your call, but we hope that this will be less often.
The system should be up and running by the middle of September.

Perhaps your staff could learn some people skills, returned to Foal Farm today as our cat (who we got from Foal Farm) recently passed away and we were looking for rehoming.

Was dealt with 2 rather rude, condesending people, wont be returning!

Re dogs, your site asks "Why is Betty still here". Possibly because nobody answers the phone, nobody responds or aknowledges receipt of completed application forms, no one replies to e mails and hence you have dogs for re homing who have been with you for far too long. After weeks of this we are off to Battersea to get a dog!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that two of our supporters have had poor customer service. We have now trebled the number of phone lines that we have and are working hard on improving our skills. If you email your details to dogs@foalfarm.org.uk we will be in touch and hopefully help you find the right dog for you.

The good news is that Betty went home last week. Despite her appearing on the Paul O'Grady show TWICE, she seemed to take an age to find the right people for her. We are prepared to wait for the right home rather than rush and make mistakes. Fingers (or paws) crossed she stays where she is forever.
Despite a few teething problems and getting to know the new IT systems, the staff at FOAL are working flat out to find homes for our dogs; We have homed a lot of long-term dogs this year and are looking at increasing our homing figures again for the fourth year running.
The last thing we wish is to inadvertently upset people who are looking to offer good homes to any of our animals. Therefore we can only apologise to 'anonymous' for any poor communications and thank you for your constructive comments. I am glad you chose to go to another rescue rather than a commercial breeder.
You caught us at an awkward time, but I can assure you we are striving to improve every day and do as much for the animals as is humanly possible.
